Important Information Regarding COVID-19

Health Declaration

All persons staying at Adelaide Showground Caravan Park may be subject to a wellness check.

Pro­vid­ing a COVID-19 safe envi­ron­ment for our guests is our pri­or­i­ty. Communal facilities will be kept clean and hygienic with appropriate record keeping by professional cleaning staff.

It is expected that you are aware of the current SA Health and Australian Government of Health COVID safe messaging.

Do not attend if:
  • You experience any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, chills, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell) or are a confirmed case of COVID-19

  • You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the previous 14 days

  • You are under order to isolate or quarantine

  • You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 hotspot within the previous 14 days

If you become unwell during your stay, please notify staff so additional touchpoint cleaning can be conducted. Please maintain distance and wear a mask if possible.

If you are unwell, get tested as soon as possible and follow isolation/ quarantine guidelines from SA Health.

Your Stay

What size are the sites?

Each site space is approximately 10 m long x 10m wide – enough space for a large full size motorhome or caravan with adjacent car park.

Are there waste disposal facilities available?

Yes. There is a disposal point immediately adjacent to the exit of the Park.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, a maximum of two pets are permitted per site providing they are supervised and controlled at all times. It is the owners responsibility to clean up after their pet. For more information, please view our Pet Policy here.

Families are welcome to stay.

How do I get to the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park?

The Adelaide Showground Caravan Park is located within the Adelaide Showground, with access via 38 Leader Street. Access to Leader Street can be from Greenhill Road or Cross Road via Goodwood Road, or from ANZAC Highway. For a map please click here.

How do I make a booking?

Making a booking with the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park is via our online booking system only. Please Click here to book.

How do I Check-In?

There is no need to check-in with anyone at the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park. 48 Hours prior to your arrival, you will be emailed a PIN Code which will provide you access to the park via the boom gate and pedestrian gate. Should you need assistance during your stay you will also be provided with a contact number in that same email that you can use anytime of the day or night.

What time is Check-In

Check-In is from 2pm on your first day of booking. Early Check-In may be possible, subject to availability and can be confirmed on the day of Check-In.

What time is Check-Out?

Check-out is by 11am

What if I arrive after 10pm?

To ensure security and safety for our guests, the main vehicle gate on Leader Street automatically closes after 10pm. Should you need this opened outside of business hours there will be a number on the gate which you can call for our staff to open the gate. The pedestrian gate on Goodwood Road can be accessed at any time using your PIN Code.

How do I Check-In after hours?

You should not plan to arrive later than 10pm on your first day of booking. If unforeseen circumstances cause a later arrival, call the Caravan Park on the mobile number you were provided in your site information email.

Do you provide late Check-Outs?

Yes, we do. This will need to be arranged prior to your stay.

What amenities and facilities are available on site?

All guests will have access to the park’s kitchen, including a large refrigerator, oven and cook top, toilets and showers. We have covered barbecue area with seating for guests to enjoy, free high speed Wifi and access to the Arena for personal or pet exercise.

Do you have free Wi-fi?

Yes. We have high-speed Wi-fi throughout the Caravan Park which you will be able to use free of charge.

Are fires permitted in the Caravan Park?

There is a central Camp Fire for general use until 10pm.

Visitors may also use their own individual fires until 10pm. They must be self-contained in professionally produced equipment.

Fires are permitted on days outside of SA Fire Danger Season. Use of fires is prohibited on days of fire ban or when the daily forecast exceeds 35 degrees – visitors will be notified on these days.

Can I use tent pegs to secure my structure?

Tent pegs are not permitted to be used at the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park. We maintain a supply of weights which can be used by visitors free of charge and will be located around the caravan park.

How do I access the park between 10pm and 6am?

To maximise security and safety, the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park restricts access after 10pm and before 6am. Pedestrian access is still available via the Goodwood Road pedestrian gate using your unique PIN. Should you need vehicular access via Leader Street during these hours, please phone the number provided to you in the same email as your PIN.

How do I cancel my booking?

Any cancellation must be in writing and emailed to no later than 48 hours before the commencement of your stay to receive your full refund. Please include your booking number and your booking dates.
