The caravan park does close for a small period of time to prepare for South Australia's much loved event, the Royal Adelaide Show (5 - 13 September, 2026). The Park is set to close at the end of July 2026. Bookings after this date can still be made online or by phoning 08 8210 5280.

Each site space is approximately 10m long x 10m wide – enough space for a large full size motorhome or caravan with adjacent car park.

Yes, a maximum of two pets are permitted per site providing they are supervised and controlled at all times. It is the owners responsibility to clean up after their pet. Families are welcome to stay.

The Adelaide Showground Caravan Park is located within the Adelaide Showground, with access via 38 Leader Street. Access to Leader Street can be from Greenhill Road or Cross Road via Goodwood Road, or from ANZAC Highway. For a map please click here.(undefined)

Check-In is from 2pm on your first day of booking. Early Check-In may be possible, subject to availability and can be confirmed on the day of Check-In.

The Adelaide Showground Caravan Park offers a contactless check-in. 48 Hours prior to your arrival, you will be emailed a PIN Code, along with other helpful site information, which will provide you access to the park via the boom gate and pedestrian gate. Should you need assistance during your stay, you will be provided with a contact number in the site information email that you can use anytime of the day or night.

You should not plan to arrive later than 10pm on your first day of booking. If unforeseen circumstances cause a later arrival, call the Caravan Park on the mobile number you were provided in your site information email.

Check-out is by 11am.

Requests for late departures are subject to availability on check-out, however can also be arranged if booked prior to arrival.

To ensure security and safety for our guests, the main vehicle gate on Leader Street automatically closes after 10pm. Should you need this opened outside of business hours there will be a number on the gate which you can call for our staff to open the gate. The pedestrian gate on Goodwood Road can be accessed at any time using your PIN Code.

To maximise security and safety, the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park restricts access after 10pm and before 6am. Pedestrian access is still available via the Goodwood Road pedestrian gate using your unique PIN. Should you need vehicular access via Leader Street during these hours, please phone the number provided to you in the same email as your PIN.

Tent pegs are not permitted to be used at the Adelaide Showground Caravan Park. We maintain a supply of weights which can be used by visitors free of charge and will be located around the caravan park.
